Valerie Adams

Valerie is a native of Sonoma County, in northern California. She currently lives in Santa Rosa.

As a graphic designer for over twenty years, Valerie’s creative vision centered on conceptualizing, designing, rearranging and laying out beautiful printed pieces. Her work now expresses the best of her graphic design skills and her love of glass. Her glass creations are contemporary artwork, functional serving pieces and smile-inducing garden art.

Each piece requires hours of meticulous glass-cutting after a unique design has been developed. Carefully chosen transparent, opaque and iridescent glass pieces are arranged and layered, then accented with bits of sparkle, streamers, frit and metals. Each piece is then kiln-fired, resulting in shaped platters, dishes, bowls, wall installations and whimsical creations. Each piece is hand signed.
